If you are in Direct Sales, events and fundraisers are a great way to get your product in front of more people and grow your business. Here are 5 places to look for vendor events in your area.

I know, right?! DUH! If you don’t look anywhere else, look on Facebook. There are many community groups where members will post upcoming events that they need vendors for. There are even vendor specific groups! Hint: Search for ‘Your State’ Vendor Events.
Most schools have a PTA and are always looking to raise money. Some will even have ‘craft fairs’ around the holidays. Contact the school to get contact info for the PTA and let them know you’d love to be a part of their next event!
- Chamber of Commerce
Check the website for your local Chamber. They often have a calendar of upcoming events around your city with contact information for the organizer. Tip: See if you can find the calendar for LAST year. Usually, they hold the same events every year and this will give you a good idea what will be coming up for the current year.
- Non-Profit Organizations
Contact your local YMCA, YWCA, Kiwanis, Shriners, Rotary Club, etc. These groups are always raising money for their causes. contact your local chapter and ask about any upcoming fundraisers that you might be a part of.
- Fair Websites
Check fair websites like FairsAndFestivals.net to find upcoming fairs and festivals near you. Tip: You don’t have to pay for this service. Find the name of the event you are interested in and then Google it. There will normally be an event website with contact information.
And if none of these things work, create your own! Grab some gal pals with non-competing products and host a ‘Home Based Business’ Event!
