How CinchShare Saved My Business

How cinchshare saved my business.

This post could also be titled ‘How CinchShare makes me look more organized than I really am.’ If you read my post ‘Why I Joined Paparazzi’, you’ll know that I was working a full-time job and taking care of a newborn when I joined Paparazzi Accessories. I was suffering (I still am, who am I kidding?!) from major mom brain and remembering to post or post on time for a Facebook party was nearly impossible. Then came CinchShare and it was love at first post.

  • Major Time Saver

CinchShare gives me the ability to schedule posts to my Facebook Business page and any groups that I am the administrator for. Once a week, I plan my post and schedule them. CinchShare takes it from there. This leaves me much-needed extra time to focus on my family instead of worrying about posting to social media. I just set it and forget it!

  • Facebook Parties

As an Independent Consultant for Paparazzi Accessories, I throw a LOT of Facebook Parties. As the mom of an active toddler, being able to sit down and post consistently for an hour and a half at a time, is not exactly easy. With CinchShare, I schedule out exactly what I want to post during the party, tell it what time to post and I’m done. When its time to party, CinchShare does all the hard stuff and I am free to do other stuff. Like answer questions or give the little one a bath because he dumped his juice all over him. Again. Ya know, life! Whatever happens, the party keeps going!

  • Recycle Content

If I want to use the same posts from a previous party but don’t want to type them all up again, I can do that! All i have to do is select the posts I want to re-post and batch post them into the new party. This is also a life saver for last-minute parties. Easy Peasy.

  • Customer Support

Not only does CinchShare have an all-inclusive user guide, they have a Facebook group where they provide all kinds of content to help your business and monthly trainings with special guest speakers!

5 Tips for Better Facebook Parties

Facebook parties are the bread and butter for direct sellers, but how do you make sure your party doesn’t flop? Here are my Top 5 Tips to get the most out of every Facebook Party:

  • Keep It Short
Facebook Party Tip #1 Keep It Short
Facebook Party Tip #1

Week long parties aren’t doing anyone any favors. I try to keep the party portion of my event around 90 minutes and I am available afterwards to help with any questions. This should give you plenty of time to showcase your most impressive products without your guests losing interest. Any longer than that and engagement starts to drop.

  • Coach Your Hostess
Facebook Party Tip #2 Coach Your hostess
Facebook Party Tip #2

Make sure you and your hostess are on the same page. They need to know how and when to contact their guests AND are engaged during the party. If your hostess isn’t engaged, her guest won’t be engaged and if the guests aren’t engaged, the hostess doesn’t earn rewards.

  • Play A Game
Facebook Party Tip #3 Play a Game
Facebook Party Tip #3

Guests LOVE to play games and win prizes. Get your guests involved by playing an interactive game. Get creative. Send your guests on a scavenger hunt or have them post a themed selfie.

  • Graphics
Facebook Party Tip #4 Make Your Own Graphics

Don’t use the same old graphics that every other consultant uses. Create your own! Make sure they are easy to read and keep in mind that most guests are partying from their mobile devices.

  • Follow Up

Facebook Party Tip #5

Don’t leave your hostess or customers hanging. Follow up with them to answer any questions and make sure that their orders were delivered and everything is in working order. You would be surprised at how many people place orders and then never hear from the consultant again. Don’t be that girl!

  • Facebook

I know, right?! DUH! If you don’t look anywhere else, look on Facebook. There are many community groups where members will post upcoming events that they need vendors for. There are even vendor specific groups! Hint: Search for ‘Your State’ Vendor Events.

  • Schools

Most schools have a PTA and are always looking to raise money. Some will even have ‘craft fairs’ around the holidays. Contact the school to get contact info for the PTA and let them know you’d love to be a part of their next event!

  • Chamber of Commerce

Check the website for your local Chamber. They often have a calendar of upcoming events around your city with contact information for the organizer. Tip: See if you can find the calendar for LAST year. Usually, they hold the same events every year and this will give you a good idea what will be coming up for the current year.

  • Non-Profit Organizations

Contact your local YMCA, YWCA, Kiwanis, Shriners, Rotary Club, etc. These groups are always raising money for their causes. contact your local chapter and ask about any upcoming fundraisers that you might be a part of.

  • Fair Websites

Check fair websites like FairsAndFestivals.net to find upcoming fairs and festivals near you. Tip: You don’t have to pay for this service. Find the name of the event you are interested in and then Google it. There will normally be an event website with contact information.

And if none of these things work, create your own! Grab some gal pals with non-competing products and host a ‘Home Based Business’ Event!

If you aren’t using Instagram for your Direct Sales business, you are seriously missing out! Instagram has over 500 million active users, and by 2017, 70.7 percent of brands will use Instagram to market their business. So how do you, as a direct seller, use this powerful social media platform for your own business? Here are some tips:

  • Optimize Your Profile

Keep your bio short and concise. Using your interests outside of your business, write a short series of things that describe who you are. Throw in an emoji or two just for fun. 🙂 These things will expand your reach to potential clients who aren’t specifically looking for your product.

Make sure to add a link to your Facebook page or business website. Individual posts don’t allow for hot links, so this is your one shot for others to follow you outside of Instagram.

  • Content

Create a cohesive look by using a consistent filter or color scheme. Statistically, bright, clean photos have a higher engagement rate, which will increase your reach. Think about your ideal customers and create images that will appeal to them. Follow the 80/20 rule when posting content. Users want to feel like they know YOU not the the product you sell. so throw in some behind the scenes photos or inspirational quotes.

  • Hashtag It

Don’t fear the #hastag. Be the #hashtag. Hashtags are SUPER important. This is how your non-followers find your posts. You are allowed 30 hashtags per post, but lets not get crazy, half that number will do. Make sure they are relevant to your post, and if you’re feeling extra frisky, create your own hashtag!

  • Engage Your Followers

Your followers want to feel included. Use your photos to ask them questions, ask their opinion or play a game. When your followers are engaged, your reach is expanded, and it boosts your ‘likes.’

  • Be Consistent

There’s nothing worse than a dead account. Post at least once per day. You don’t want your followers to forget about you. If you are like me and have a hard time remembering to post, consider signing up for a scheduler like Tailwind to schedule your posts, and receive a reminder when it’s time to post it!

Why I Joined Paparazzi Accessories: And Why You Should Too

Why I joined Paparazzi Accessories

Why I Joined Paparazzi Accessories

I joined Paparazzi in January of 2016. But let’s back up a little bit and talk about WHY I became a consultant.

I became a mom in August of 2015. After being on maternity leave and with the additional costs of having a newborn, some of our bills had fallen behind. I was back at work but with daycare costs taking nearly half of my paycheck, I was struggling to keep up.

Around November of 2015, I was browsing local yard sale groups on Facebook, looking for cheap baby gear when I came across some seriously gorgeous jewelry. “Join my group to see more,” it said. Well, don’t mind if I do!

To my surprise, everything was just $5! There had to be a catch. So I took my impeccable detective skills to Google and learned that this was not, in fact, a joke, and that I could make money selling this jewelry, too!

Now, I’m no stranger to Direct Sales and I’m sure you aren’t either. I’m ‘invited’ to a different Facebook party nearly every day. But there are some pretty big differences when it comes to Paparazzi:

  • Everything is just $5 each.

Let me just say that again. Everything. Is Just. $5. Each. That’s it. There’s no trying to convince customers to drop loads of cash. And your friends won’t feel bad about not being able to afford supporting your business. Nearly everyone can afford $5.

  • Instant Cash

While you have the ability to make sales via your replicated website (which is FREE, by the way), most consultants choose to carry their own inventory. This means, when you sell a piece of jewelry from your personal stock, that’s $5 in your pocket. No waiting around for a commission check.

  • 45% Commission

Sure, $2.25 doesn’t sound like a big deal, but with such a low price point, customers will often purchase much, much more than just one piece. And that $2.25 adds up fast!

  • No Monthly Quotas

This is a big one! There’s nothing worse than having to buy stuff you don’t need or want just to remain active. With Paparazzi Accessories, there are no monthly quotas or auto-ship programs to remain active. The only requirement is to purchase at least 100 pieces of jewelry in a 12 month period. That averages around 9 pieces per month. I buy more than that just for myself!

On top of all that, Paparazzi has introduced me to some incredible people and has helped me get my sense of self back after the baby.
